About UsIntroducing Our Well-Rounded, Talented Community

Greetings from DIS Peer Tutoring Club
The Peer Tutoring Club (PTC) is a non-profit, independent education support organization founded by philanthropy-driven students at Daegu International School. It strives to establish an open-minded, non-judgmental community where students strive to support students. We offer specialized educational support to students within the DIS community that are driven to learn, aspiring to help fellow students gain confidence and extended knowledge in their studies.
Our tutors consist of 14 academically dedicated students and leaders at DIS inspired to share their academic excellence and diligence with fellow peers. They are wide-ranging in the support they offer and are certified of their experiences in the subjects they offer support, either through their grades, standardized testing scores, or extracurricular activities. Most tutors have an A grade or higher, an AP score of 4 or higher, or distinguished extracurricular accomplishments in the subjects they specialize in.
We offer exceptional and caring support for every subject we tutor -- including but not limited to an explanation of concepts, a review of homework and/or assessment questions, and individualized guidance for the Advanced Placement (AP) exams in May. Such support extends to almost all subjects instructed here at DIS; what’s more, some special subjects not covered at DIS are offered as well!
